We (with whom time always seems short and insufficient - Aman, Amrit, Ananth, Sumeet and Vivek) have planned to meet at sector 17, Chandigarh, roam there, have fun there, then have our food at Sallad Bar, Hot Millions, Sector 17, Chandigarh. Eventually and as always we decided to have a cup of coffee at Cafe Coffee Day, Sector 35, Chandigarh.

It was an AWESOME time and A LOT of FUN as always.

CHEERS Smile,

Rainbow Days We Left Behind - Jungle Book

SWEET MEMORIES: It’s the time when there use to be only one TV at our homes with only one or maximum two channels to watch and thus, every serial and every song had a great value to itself, though I was not a BIG TIME TV surfer Edge to Edge Smile.

Doordarshan - The one and only daily entertainment dose of every Indian.

I still remember the days when we all use to wait for every Friday to watch the latest songs (Chitrahar) on our favorite channel Doordarshan. Today, just try to visualize - you are allowed to watch songs just for half an hour a week and that too at a pre-scheduled time (Friday, 8:00PM) Listen and Watch Music.

Listed below are some of the serials and commercials, that will definitely gonna remind you with your kindergarten days and of course, I can already see a smile on your face Edge to Edge Smile:

  • Chitrahaar - Songs at their best; half an hour, once a week (Friday, 8:00PM).
  • Ramayan and Mahabharat - you can’t argue with your grand-parents on this, everything can stop when it comes to these serials and anything was possible with these serials. Remember those bow & arrows spreading fires and killing 1000 of people with a single shot Wink.
  • Malgudi Days
  • Chandrakanta - Karuuuur Singh (Yakoo)
    • lyrics: “Chandrakanta kee kahani hai sadeyon purani, …
  • Jungle Book - Mowglee, Bagira, Sherkhan
    • lyrics: “Jungle jungle baat chali hai pataa chala hai, chaddi pehen ke phool khila hai..
    • video:
  • Cartoons - Ducktales, Telespin after Chanakya at 10:30AM, Sunday morning. Uncle screwz , always screwed.
  • Chanakya
  • Vyomkesh Bakshi - Detective serials of your times :)
  • Fauji & Circus - Initial start of Shahrukh Khan’s career which made him quite popular on TV.
  • Humlog, Buniyaad
  • Nukkad - khopdi (drunken, always - still alive)
  • Tipu Sultan
  • Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne - wow :D
  • Fatichar
  • Surbhi
  • Vikram Vetaal
  • and there were many more to this list..

There is a little more to it…

  • Mile sur mera tumhara, too sur baane humara” - it was such a long song and boring too :|
  • Days when the TV set too use to sleep; it was between late night and early morning… you must be knowing it if you have ever got a chance to switch your TV ON between that time… there use to be rainbow colored 7-10 vertical strips on your TV Screen with some irritating background sounds.
  • Also, how can one forget “Rookavat ke liye khed hai

A few good & bad commercials :)

  • Hamara Bajaj
  • Nirma Detergent
  • Ek Anek Aur Ekta

There is so much more but I have to go now.. but i’ll be back with some more interesting, loving and enjoyable stuff till then…,

Keep Smiling n Keep Rolling n Keep Rocking… Wink

ENJOY!!!

DHAMAAL - W3Syntactic’s (W3S) - First Outing

DHAMAAL - Today, it was the day to do a little DHAMAAL and this time it was from w3syntactic (W3S).

W3S’s FIRST OUTING - Everyone from W3Syntactic was invited for the Dhamaal and everyone did some DHAMAAL there :). The movie was Total FUN, Full of QUALITY HUMOR, Excelleeeeeeent ENTERTAINMENT and “must watch” kind of movie.

After the movie, it was the dinner time… First, we thought of having it at FR only, as it was already 10:45PM but then eventually, we went to Khyber, Sec 35, Chandigarh - among one of our last & favorite options, when it comes to sit, talk and have food with some water, soda, juices and soft drinks beer.

Party Time

PARTY TIME - People who love to ENJOY and know how to ENJOY, always have a reason to celebrate and party. They make every other moment, a special one and a reason to celebrate by all. Today, it was something similar. It was a party thrown by Amandeep Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Sapandeep Singh and Harkanwal Singh working for smartData Enterprises, who all have just been appraised and promoted to their new designations. Now how can one expect them, not to celebrate on such an occasion…?

Thus, it was a party time today and it’s always a great fun to be a part of such parties (thanks to all four of you ;) ). Such parties assists in rejuvenating ones mind, soul and definitely BODY (after dancing for 3-4 hours continuously - lol) too.

Above all, it was a well coordinated, nicely organized, no formalities and fun-4-all type party. In short, FULL BLAST, TOTAL FUN & Non-Stop MASTI. Thanks to everyone out there :).

Dialogue: Aman to DJ - Jab tak sanjeev kay pair chalenge tera DJ baajega

Quotation: Don’t get so involved in the race of life that you forgot that the course is only a means to an end, rather than the end itself.

Videos: (Next time we must carry a better cam)

Atlast - Here’s My First Post - Aaaaaaha :)

WOW!!! HERE, AM I - Seems like I was lost in some other world and eventually, I am able bring myself back to HEAVEN. Yeah, you read it correctly - I call this place (earth) as HEAVEN only and we all are the angels :)

Today, keeping this domain name (sumeetsoni.com) almost for an year (just 2 weeks away from its expiration) now - it seems like that I will be able to make a proper use of it. Every now and then, I use to create something and use to upload it over here but nothing find me worth enough to be kept here for long.

Quotation: It’s never too late to be what you might have been. - George Eliot
